First Quarter Update
Hey! We are only a couple of months into the new year, yet a lot of exciting things have happened in Kvist that we want to update you on.
Closed investment round
It's fun to be able to report that we have raised 17 million in an investment round led by Arkwright X and DNB Ventures. 💰 From the previous round, both went Alliance VC and Squid Venture (formerly Vater) in with additional investments. Most importantly, we want our biggest customer Greater Oslo Real Estate welcome into the ownership side along with more angel investors. With the fresh capital, we can scale our operations and work faster towards making mejøcertification super easy for everyone!

Launch in Sweden
In February, Kvist signed our first international customer, NCC Sweden! 🍾 The first Swedish project is now onboarded, Habitat 7, a new office building in Gothenburg aiming to achieve a BREEAM Excellent score. 👷 We are proud to expand into the Scandinavian market and get to work with such a large customer as NCC. This is a major milestone for the company and we look forward to helping more companies in Sweden to obtain green certifications for their buildings. 🇸🇪🏆
DOGA award
Finally, we can also announce that our platform, init, has been awarded the DOGA mark for design and architecture! 🥳

“init is awarded the DOGA mark because it is a model for good use of interaction and service design. A highly user-friendly solution and a simple, clear design language simplify environmental reporting, freeing up precious time that can now be spent developing new and more sustainable solutions in the construction industry. We see a solution that has the potential to be a game changer for the industry! “.
We would like to extend a big thank you to Umble and Nice Industrial Design who have made important contributions to making the platform the way it is today. Thanks also to everyone else who has had faith in us and our solution until now. 🙌

2023 has started at a record pace and the plan is for the rest of the year to continue in the same way! 🤩 We look forward to sharing more exciting news in the coming time. Already now we can reveal that we are working on support for new manuals, and a proper upgrade of init as you know it today. The pre-analysis that was launched is just a taste. 😉
